PurseWorth ("we", "us") provides designer handbag resale value estimates. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
- Account information — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google to create your PurseWorth account.
- Collection data — the bags you save to your personal collection, including any condition details you set and any photos you choose to upload of your own bags.
- Anonymous usage analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not collect any information that identifies you individually. We cannot see who a given visitor is from this data.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
How we use this information
- To let you sign in and access your personal collection and dashboard
- To calculate and display the estimated value of the bags in your collection
- To store and display any photos you upload of your own bags
- To understand aggregate, anonymous site traffic and improve the site
Where your data is stored
Account and collection data is stored in a Postgres database. Uploaded bag photos are stored via Vercel Blob storage. Sign-in is handled by Google — we never see or store your Google password.
Your choices
You can remove any bag from your collection, including its photo, at any time from your dashboard. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself, at any time, from the "Delete my account" option at the bottom of your dashboard — no need to contact us.
Children's privacy
PurseWorth is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
