About the Obsedia
Launched in 2011 during Riccardo Tisci's tenure, the Obsedia was a gothic-tinged tote and shoulder bag built around dark hardware and structured, architectural panels, part of the same design era that produced the Antigona and Pandora. Sold in small and large sizes across leather and exotic skins, it never reached the icon status of its siblings but built a following among Tisci-era collectors for its darker, more directional aesthetic. It has been out of production for years and trades almost exclusively on the resale and vintage market now.
What affects this bag's resale value
- Long discontinued, so total supply is fixed and well-preserved pieces are increasingly scarce
- Exotic-skin versions, particularly python, command significant premiums over standard leather
- As a lesser-known Tisci-era piece, resale liquidity is lower than Antigona or Pandora despite comparable quality and era
- Dark-toned hardware is prone to tarnishing, and hardware condition drives much of the price spread
- Collector demand tracks broader Tisci-era nostalgia cycles, so pricing can be inconsistent month to month

Frequently asked questions
- Does the Obsedia hold its value?
- It has largely stabilized as a discontinued vintage piece, typically holding 25-35% of original retail with slower further decline, though pricing is less consistent than for Antigona or Pandora due to thinner resale volume.
- Is the Obsedia a good investment?
- It's a niche collector buy rather than a reliable investment — exotic-skin examples in strong condition can hold value well, but standard leather pieces are valued mainly for Tisci-era provenance, not scarcity premium.

This is an estimated market value, not a formal appraisal. The actual value of any individual bag depends on its condition, provenance, and what a specific buyer is willing to pay. Values shown are modeled from aggregated resale market data and update periodically.
